Le miel de prairie provient de la diversit\u00e9 florale des prairies des montagnes de Homolje. Sa couleur, sa saveur et son ar\u00f4me varient selon les plantes dont il est compos\u00e9. Sa couleur va de jaune claire et rouge\u00e2tre aux nuances plus fonc\u00e9es. Suivant la pr\u00e9dominance d\u2019une plante, sa saveur peut \u00eatre agr\u00e9ablement douce, mais aussi teint\u00e9 d’amertume.
